When we approach dating and/or meeting others from a more spiritual perspective, we are automatically open to various relationships and living in the now or in the moment.
We also can approach love spiritually without tossing our common sense or compromising what is most important to us. We can have both. For many the drive to be with another is so strong that it overrides any warnings, or as in part 2 that feeling of something not being right. And then pushing those feelings down or out of sight for the hope of love.
If we approach love spiritually then we can be assured when the person and timing is right, we WILL meet a potential life partner. Or at the very least we will meet some we are compatible with that we can enjoy a romance or relationship. If we continue to be open to each new experience and then what those experiences can bring into our life, meeting one person is like meeting 3.
For those that choose online dating although it is a very modern and successful way of meeting others, we do have to follow our spiritual energy along with common sense. As we wrote in the blog "catfish", there are those out there pretending to be other than who they truly are. Speaking on the phone, using some form of video chat and most important is meeting the person before you have gotten too involved.
And always safely, unless you are going out with someone you have met before or know, always meet at a public place and are sure at least one person knows where you are. If the person is nothing as expected you can always make a fast getaway. Which is another reason for meeting rather than someone knowing your exact home address?
Anytime we use common sense those that contact us but don’t provide contact information, or seem to be available only a certain times, are all signs that there may be more going on and we almost always get a feeling something isn't right.
Don't be afraid to ask!! If something seems off, ask that person why they are not ever available on Saturdays or only see you on Tuesday evenings. The list goes on and on but they should have nothing to hide, and if they do the faster we know about it the better off we are.
Spiritual dating is networking and enjoying the view and the journey rather than being overly focused on outcome. And from what my experience has shown, it almost always brings better results.
December is a great chance for meeting others and allowing our spiritual core/energy to guide us through the maze of dating.
