Part 1
It seems that many clients and just humans in general have taken a greater interest in the possibility or existence and meaning of past lives. This is not an attempt to convince those that believe otherwise, but merely to probe a bit deeper for those that are open to more information. And even those that perhaps believe or are inclined towards the belief in past lives' may even see the reasons or purpose differently. And of course when dealing with the spiritual world there is never a right or wrong, never a black or white. There are numerous paths to follow when it comes to our belief system and then like forks along the main paths, variations off of what we may see as the main theme.
So first we will begin by defining the terms as they will be used in this context with the acceptance that others may use these terms differently.
Past lives' and reincarnation my guides define as interchangeable terms or to mean the same outcome. Reincarnation is returning to the physical life or form and past lives' refers to those we have lived. The number of how many can vary with each individual and can be based on a variety of influences. We will take a closer look at that in this series. It is our belief that a human spirit or soul returns only as a human in an actual life or physical form. So to try to be clearer, if we are in spirit or spiritual energy we perhaps can take the form of an animal, and even become an animal totem. However when we return to earth in the physical form, we do not return after being human to a bird, tiger, dog, etc. This is probably one of the most subjective beliefs as there are many that feel the collective (spirit of all earthlings) is a main force or energy and therefore it is capable of interchanging. It is also our belief that spiritual form is or has a definitive gender. (See our previous blog on spiritual gendering) However because of the lessons and the development we usually return as a male/female in the physical form with only an occasional change to the opposite gender.
A familiar much like a soul mate is the spiritual energy or soul of someone we have shared another life with and generally several lives. We all have about 5 or so people that we meet or in some way are important to our life and have been or occupied and important place in prior lives’. For example a best friend in this life may have been a sister or even a mother in a prior life. And with romantic partners we do believe that a true soul mate has been in past lives' and the relationship always has some type of romantic connection. It does begin to get a bit tricky here as not everyone we may hope or think is a soul mate actually is. And we do not always meet all of our familiars early in our current life; some enter at varying ages and can come from a variety of sources. In our current family it is possible and actually likely that one or more has been with us in past lives but not necessarily everyone. And many also believe the more lives we have lived the more familiars we gather or the more people we know and we feel this resonates. Then we have those that talk about a "twin flame" and many who believe each of us has a perfectly matched duplicate in varying ways. In the sense of a twin flame most see that as the ultimate romantic connection with friendship and meeting on all levels. Others may see this as almost a clone, an exact replica of our physical self. This does not resonate with me or my guides as we believe spiritual energy is always unique. If we are speaking about parallel universe's or quantum dimensions perhaps it can make sense but that is a topic for another day.
So we have lived before or most of us have. And many of us have dreams or feelings, even just strange vague images that seem to be clues to a life gone by. And some of us experience strange fears or perhaps an unexplainable melancholy when visiting certain places or seeing pictures. Some of us feel a terrible longing or yearning and never seem able to satisfy this.
And lastly we look at what is pre-destined, sometimes also called "soul-contracts" agreements made before returning to this physical life. This too can take many directions and therefore it's important to be true to yourself and what feels right and resonates. My guides have shown me that while there are pre-destined plans or contracts/agreements, free will can and does interfere with those plans. It does not necessarily mean eventually we will not follow through but we have certain rights that we can exert here on earth. And more on that as we look further in.
So up next, why do we keep living and is there any way to be certain of a prior existence. ~
