Sharing the Vision with StarzMayaMoon - "Labor Day".

Sep 5, 2016

La·bor Day
noun
a public holiday or day of festivities held in honor of working people, in the US and Canada on the first Monday in September, in many other countries on May 1.

My guides asked me to take a moment to acknowledge the holiday that we celebrate here in the US, and as noted above, Canada and several other countries. The US and Canada share the same dates, however other countries not only celebrate on May 1st, but several have begun to celebrate for one specific reason or another with varying dates.

Although originally this holiday began in honor of the American labor movement, it has grown as you can see to include many different countries and in an attempt to honor those that work or spend hours in some of the most challenging environments to be able to make pennies a day to care for their families.

Although many of the more western and/or modern cultures have a strong judicial system which now presides over not only working conditions for laborers of all types, but even the allowed minimum pay scale. And sadly as many of us may be aware and have boycotted other countries, some are forced to work in what is often called a "sweat shop", where even young children are forced into labor and conditions are abhorrent. There are filthy conditions, no running water, not to mention fans or air in the hottest and most humid climates. Hours that often range from 12-16 hours per day, 7 days a week for what the exchange rate to the US would end up being about 25 CENTS PER DAY!!!! Obviously this is against every possible law in many countries, but there are still those that run these "sweat shops" behind closed doors, importing their goods to countries such as American or Canada and the unknown buyer is paying at times in excess of $150.00 for a pair of brand name athletic shoes.

So you may be thinking while all this is certainly relative and connected to us as human, how does it align with spirituality?

As myself and my guides (and many involved with spirituality) often refer to the "collective"; the spiritual connection that is shared by all living humans and relates in or towards the highest potential.

All of the laws banning child labor and unacceptable working conditions for those laborers such as coal miners, factory workers to name a few. These all became changed and have remained and/or continue to improve and change due to our spiritual compassion and love. Without the origins of our spiritual needs, and our love for and towards the collective and therefore the greater good of all others, we would simply find another "job" or career for self.

Instead there are many both males and females that have literally devoted their entire lives to changing these laws and making sure they stayed or were kept from being overturned or allowed to resort back to careless conditions.
So as we have picnic's, gather with family and friends, use our barbecue grill or perhaps even ordering pizza, we can take a moment of silence in our busy day.

And whatever your original origins may be, or what country you originated from by ancestors, Labor Day is actually a significantly spiritual day that we can all recognize and celebrate. In the majority of countries; whether those are broken down into states or territories, tropic or dry with drought, it is truly our spiritual energy that defines our connection or bond to the "Labor day" holiday.

Because as always our spiritual energy is our core and the highest of all we are as spiritual beings and humans. For those of us that recognize the past hardships and can feel great empathy for what many were forced to endure, we are in effect celebrating the current freedoms.

It is a time for not just celebration of prior accomplishments, but that we can be aware of how amazing and powerful our spiritual collective energy has been- and can be. Without the momentum of those from various backgrounds, and allowing as we always are asked by Divine to lead all things with spirit. None of what has been achieved over the last 100 years would be more than a hope, a vision or dream. But it is all a result of our true spiritual core, energy, the unity of the collective and our human empowerment, courage and the action taken.

So "Labor day" is so much more than a pat on the shoulder for working or for unions, higher pay scales, safe, clean and proper working conditions. Even for those that for whatever reason may not be employed, perhaps a stay at home mom, or disabled in some way can still contribute their vibration, intention and join the mass of the profound and unbeatable collective as we join in peace, harmony and most of all love.

And as so often is true, love is at the bottom or better said, the foundation, the reason for our motivation to help others and to make the world a better place.

So we wish you a wonderful day and that your weekend was filled with all you desired or planned. And as the day continues on, whether a quiet day at home or filled with social events, take that one moment to remember. If not for our continued faith and hope in self, in spirit and that of the collective and Divine, Labor Day would be just another day of life. ~
