"The balance of the present"
Part 1- Starz BlogTalk Radio topic; Monday-7/25
Another insightful and provocative topic!! Hopefully you tuned in last night for Starz live broadcast at 8 pm EST featuring hosts, Natalie AKA StarzCast (Owner, founder, CEO of Starz and affiliates) and myself, Maya AKA StarzMayaMoon. We also had a call in guest that shared his views on balancing in the present. And the ability to be flexible with our future while remaining true to our dreams, visions and outcomes.
As always listeners (and myself included) can rely on Natalie to share her wisdom, insight and guidance by putting things into applicable perspectives. Whether that includes opening up about her personal life, or sharing her struggles as a business owner fighting to keep her dream alive. Natalie finds a way to make things relevant and applicable to us all.
Both I and Natalie agreed that as with so many things spiritually, faith is an absolute requirement. And the belief in a higher power, whether that is God, Creator or the Divine also helps to "cushion" humans against the uncertainties that lie ahead in the future. So as we discussed learning to "balance the present" it became clear that it's not just about the present, but as inter-related or associated with our future and/or future views, expectations and reality.
We spoke a bit about the word and meaning of "contingencies"; agreeing and providing examples that life is a swiftly shifting energy. A bit like a river or brook, there can be twists and turns and we are not always able to anticipate what lies around the next bend, whether it's calm and low water or deep, strong rapids. So while most humans have some future plan or even just the outline of a plan, it serves our greater good to be prepared for that which may be unexpected even if preparing simply means accepting that life and living is never a straight, flat line.
As humans we are continually evolving as well, therefore what we may envision today for our future is subject to change as we grow in experience and adapt to alternate plans. So balancing the present becomes a fairly vital part of our life and living, and actually combines releasing the past, along with acceptance of future potential.
So we concluded the show and as always Natalie leaves such a strong, compassionate and uplifting message that it wraps us up snug like a virtual hug or our favorite cozy blanket!
We all should hold our dreams close and as a pioneering entrepauner that has made her dream of a business that could help other people into the global success of Starz and affiliates, there are some things we NEVER give up on. And the most important of all is SELF. As long as we believe in our self, walk with faith and hope, and our future will be a success even if that actual success or the final outcomes varies a bit from where it started.
So we balance the present, the now, we journey towards our intended goals, desires and dreams. We prepare and expect that shifts and changes are a part of life, and we can and will overcome each of these. We cannot always foresee exactly what lies ahead and perhaps we are not meant to either. But as long as we prepare for the contingencies, are able to be flexible, we can balance the present and as the future comes forward, it then becomes the present.
Our greatest energy or influence is being open to all the many potential or possibilities that lie ahead and as we pursue our dreams, expect the unexpected and prepare to be challenged AND amazed. Life is about balance and unity, faith and hope.
