This journal is made from leather that looks exactly like corduroy...yes it really does! It has the same old grooves and very soft feel as your favorite old pants or jacket, way back when. This is bound with the traditional long stitch using chocolate brown waxed thread. There are 9 signatures or sections for a total of 288 pages, front and back, of lined cream colored paper. I used a gold snap for a very secure closure. This 6.5" x 5" journal is a simple, traditional style, with a very comfortable feel that fits easily into a backpack, satchel or purse. Each journal is wrapped in tissue paper and tied with a ribbon for quick and easy gift giving.
