The Tarot Royal Arcana Kings and Queens

In a deck of tarot cards the Kings and Queens of any suit are masters, the King ruling over the physical world and the Queen ruling over the inner world. These royal tarot cards represent a mature person - male or female (aged 35 years or older) that is either married or single.
In the Tarot Royal Arcana, the King is said to be the head of the family, he is the most mature, and therefore represents the fully developed personality of each suit. He has experience and has learned many life lessons as he has travelled through life.

Within the deck of tarot cards Kings are in complete control of their emotions, thoughts, feeling actions and reactions. These court cards are strong, stable, brave, and highly capable of leading their individual suit. They can fully control and direct their energy to achieve what they set out to do! They like to oversee their individual suit and can manage, direct, and stabilize.

The Kings
As people these court cards are mature and trustworthy, they’ve been there and done it! And will lead by example. These court cards are in full control of their actions and reactions and will have complete control over their destiny and will likely achieve their visions and goals.
Kings are providers and will take responsibility for others’ well-being. Generally, the King wants to make an impact on the World by making a difference! And will draw upon the many components of their personalities to make their mark.
In the Tarot Royal Arcana Kings often represent older males, but that said not all Kings have to be male. The king in your reading may be representing dominant masculine energy, for example this may be someone that controls and directs and that wants to take the role of leader.
The Queens
These court cards generally represent women but can also be drawn to represent the feminine qualities in a man. As people, Queens are mature (generally over the age of 35 years), feminine, nurturing and understanding. They like the King have been there and done it! And are ready to help others overcome their own obstacles by bringing their suits unique qualities to the situation.

With royal tarot cards when a Queen of any suit is drawn, it will generally mean emotional maturity, composure and control are at the front of the conversation, this is true regardless of where the Queen card is drawn in the tarot layout, whether in the past, present, or future.
So, if the Queen for example is drawn in the past position this would probably be referencing your mother or a strong woman in your past. It may also be talking about your own emotional strength from years gone.

So as an event: The King of Pentacles when drawn in a reading can be an indication of satisfaction in an investment, financial stability or perhaps show the accomplishment of a task or goal.
The queen of Wands as an event can indicate travel, she can be foretelling a vacation.

Multiple Kings and Queens in a reading


Four Kings – These court cards together could be an indication that you will become highly influential in the future, everywhere you look there will be people of power. In a career reading you will be an influencer, climbing your way up the ladder to the very top. In a love reading it can mean that your work may become a source of tension. If you are single it can mean you will meet and form a relationship with someone popular or famous. If you are in a relationship, it may mean your partner will be the one to climb to the top of their career ladder.
Three Kings – This can mean opinions and advice coming in from multiple people, some of which will be useful. In a career reading it can mean experts will assist you. For example, a business coach, or someone that is a mastermind in their field, and says their help will be invaluable! In a love reading it can mean getting advice from an expert (in person, online or from a book) if you want things to be perfect.
Two Kings – Drawing two Kings can have the same meaning as three Kings, but tamed down so where you are getting advice from multiple people, two Kings can be predicting help from say one person. In a career reading it can mean getting advice from someone close to you that has had experience in the area you are struggling with. In a love reading, two king court cards can mean that your friends, family, peers, etc. will help you out by telling you some home truths, which will enable you to move forward.
Four Queens – Four of these court cards can mean you will attend lots of events where large groups of women meet. In a career reading it can mean you will speak at important events related to your career. In love it can mean your partner will attend or host events that are specifically targeted at women. It can also mean you will meet a partner in the future that fits this description.
Three Queens – Can mean lies, deception and gossip about infidelity. In a career reading it can mean the loss of a job due to slander. It may also mean you may lose out on opportunities, such as a job promotion or career progression. In love it can foretell infidelity.
Two Queens – Shows support TLC, and empathy from females who are close to you. In a career reading it might mean you will get help from female friends or family members to find the right job. If you already have a job, you will receive career help from a woman. In love it can mean friends and family will put in a good word for you with your partner. It can also mean someone will offer you some sage advice not to be ignored. If you are single, these royal tarot cards can mean meeting and falling in love with someone you are introduced to through family or friends.
