On Feb. 28, six planets aligned in a rare planetary parade: Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Neptune, Uranus and Mercury will all be visible to the naked eye in the same viewing window, which doesn’t happen very often says parade.com.
According to NASA, the term "planet parade" isn't officially recognized in astronomy, while "planetary alignment" can describe various astronomical events.
After all, while orbiting the sun, the celestial bodies in our solar system have occasional meetings. These planetary alignments are called oppositions and conjunctions.
However, while four planets will be visible to the naked eye — Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Jupiter — a telescope or binoculars are needed to see Neptune and Uranus, according to StarWalk. Outer planets Uranus and Neptune are more difficult to spot, so the right equipment helps a lot!
This isn’t just a visual treat — the astrology of this planet parade is powerful and momentous. For instance, with Mercury retrograde and Venus in Pisces, their meet-cute could trigger feelings of nostalgia, or bring the past back around, namely lovers and unfinished business.
Simultaneously, Saturn and Neptune are conjunct in Aries, kicking off a brand-new cycle that will shape an entire generation, especially after their first official conjunction on Feb. 20.
