Portraying a role or character can be one of the most challenging tasks for individuals. Referring to the analogy of an actor, many entertainers have acknowledged that certain roles were particularly demanding in their careers. The reasons may vary, but a common theme is the ability to deliver a convincing performance as a character vastly different from their true self. This may involve adopting different traits or altering physical appearance, so the actor closely resembles the persona they are portraying. Additionally, actors may need to behave in ways or take actions that differ from their own morals or characteristics.
When we try to exhibit traits that conflict with our true selves, it can be challenging. Our spiritual and emotional energies aim to serve the greater good but achieving this requires focus and concentration.
Spiritual and Emotional Energies
As discussed in part 1, many individuals experience disruptions in their roles, life, and even hope or faith by choosing to wait. While waiting may eventually bring some desired changes, it often results in months or years passing without action. Observing a pot as it boils does not influence the speed of the process. Additionally, the energy spent on waiting rather than engaging in activities can lead to missed opportunities as time progresses.
Modern society is characterized by a desire for instant gratification and immediate outcomes. This tendency makes it increasingly difficult to exercise patience, wait, or cultivate the concentration, focus, and intention necessary to shift our mindset and energy.
Universal Law
Universal law teaches that we must embody a role before we truly feel it. With enough practice, the traits we aim for become natural, no longer requiring conscious effort. Eventually, we become what we once strived to be.
To start this process, identify areas of improvement or potential growth. This could mean presenting yourself more confidently in job applications or embracing spiritual empowerment. Changes might include trying new clothing styles or disconnecting from unhealthy relationships.
For example, consider an old friend from your school years with whom you have met every two months for the past ten years to catch up and share. In this scenario, let’s say that this old friend has changed from their previous personality traits. Over the past year, your time with this friend has been dominated by her negativity. She complains about her job, husband, and disregards your life updates, often interrupting you. Initially, you offered support and advice, but realized she only wanted to vent, leaving you drained. Although you've always valued being a supportive friend, every relationship needs balance. Now, you dread these lunches and feel guilty about cancelling.
Envision yourself as strong and assertive. Call her to cancel, briefly explaining you're busy and will check in next month. There's no need for elaborate excuses. While it might be tempting to express your frustrations, simply stating your unavailability is sufficient.
Empowerment
Empowerment involves standing up for our rights in any situation. However, retaliation can shift us from a positive role to the negative energy we aimed to avoid.
Although this may appear to be a minor example, it is astonishing how frequently individuals endure similar circumstances or negative and toxic environments, imposing conditions on themselves and their lives that entirely lack joy and contentment.
The steps we undertake assist in formulating our plan. The more significant or profound the change or transition required for a role, the greater the number of steps and stronger the energy and intention needed.
Next, when our role demands significant change and all our spiritual and emotional energy.
Part 3/conclusion
This year brings powerful, influential, and spiritual energy, opening many doors and unlimited potential. Life always offers limitless possibilities for self-creation, identity, and purpose. In January and much of 2017, these resources seem magnified. The current energies and universal shifts provide ideal timing for learning and perfecting our understanding and demonstration of our roles, which is the highest spiritual path.
For individuals experiencing minor changes or challenges in their journey, the ability to respond with flexibility may be a manageable task.
Truly embodying a role becomes much harder when our emotional energy is in turmoil. Life can seem extremely unfair during major crises, traumas, or obstacles, whether due to previous choices or circumstances beyond our control. While Universal law teaches us that "bad things happen to good people," linking experiences to past lives, destiny, or soul contracts, we are often not privy to the reasons behind these events. Accepting our circumstances can feel impossible, especially when unexpected events lead to profound darkness or pain. Yet, overcoming these challenges can eventually guide us towards grace, acceptance, balance, and happiness.
Assuming the role that embodies the projection, expectation, or vision of our future is quite challenging. If it were a straightforward transition or objective, few individuals would experience the difficulties that many currently face.
Balancing our internal energies—spiritually, emotionally, and cognitively—is crucial. While it's challenging to move forward without feeling immediate changes, it’s important not to attempt this before processing setbacks. For example, losing a young child in an accident is devastating and life changing. Such tragedies remind us that accidents can happen quickly, regardless of how vigilant we are. Parents and caretakers need time to mourn their loss without rushing into recovery or healing. It is essential to process the grief before slowly moving towards acceptance and continuing life's journey.
We are individuals and the interim period between absorbing and processing whatever the circumstances versus being trapped or lost within that energy that causes added pain, chaos, anxiety or grief.
Even in the most challenging circumstances, it is crucial for our spiritual well-being, connection to the collective and Divine, and future progress to be able to move forward. Initially, assuming a leadership role can be confusing and conflicting. Many individuals experience a range of emotions and may turn to substances or addictions to numb their pain or cope with seemingly insurmountable challenges. However, gradual acceptance and embracing this role is essential for our survival—not just physically, but also spiritually and emotionally—and for a future filled with new possibilities and positive experiences.
We cannot truly "live" if we are without hope, faith and even the smallest belief that tomorrow or the future can be improved in some way.
Personifying a role that literally calls for every ounce of spiritual empowerment and intervention must be a deliberate and ongoing. Sometimes, it can take weeks or even months for genuine feelings to replace the act of "role playing." The first step is to identify who we aspire to be or the future self we can relate to. While certain experiences may leave lasting impressions, we can still progress despite these memories. Our role in life may evolve, reflecting changes from our past selves. For instance, a parent who has lost an only child may struggle to identify as a parent in a physical sense, yet the spiritual connection and energy of that role will always remain.
Entering a role designed to aid our recovery and growth involves not only regaining our previous abilities but also embracing new experiences, such as taking classes or changing careers. The key to achieving success lies in maintaining our character, even when challenges feel overwhelming. By steadfastly committing to our roles and envisioning a positive future, we foster a healthier present and create a more stable, balanced future. The determination to embrace these changes ultimately enhances our well-being and resilience.
Life is inherently about transformation, and many of us instinctively adopt roles or personas to navigate challenges. For some, this process is automatic and reflects a deeper spiritual evolution, while others may need reminders and conscious effort to recognize that they are often pushing themselves to progress, even when staying put feels much simpler.
Spiritually, staying stagnant and waiting for a moment when we’ll “feel better” rarely leads to genuine growth or a higher state of being. True progress comes from understanding our roles in life and recognizing their profound impact on our healing process and the future we deserve.
Life, despite the hardships and pain we face, always holds the promise of joy and happiness just around the corner. If we are alive, our inner spirit and essence work in harmony with us, guiding us toward a higher state of being. This connection helps us navigate through challenges, reminding us that brighter days are always ahead.
When it’s your moment to shine at the academy or Golden Globe awards, the authenticity of your performance deepens the audience's connection to your character. This connection can accelerate our emotional recovery and resilience, leading us to embody the role fully. Before we know it, we rediscover the joy in life, illuminated by the spirit of the character we've come to portray.
