I chose this mineral because it is a happy stone, along with the fact it clears, energizes, also restoring the bodies. With the cleansing it does it sharpens the intuition and helps to nurture ourselves. When I say cleanse, I men it cleanses all of the chakras on all levels. It strengthens the life-force within, giving us the stamina to fulfill anyones purpose and to get through Karmic contracts, yes, I said contracts. It gives us hope, builds our courage and self-esteem. It also helps to remove doubts so that we may move forward. If anyone has ever read the book “The Four Agreements” By Miguel Ruiz, this stone assists in removing the “hooks” emotionally or otherwise that we have picked up or have chosen to receive. Sunstone may even brighten the chakras after cleansing, leaving us with a sense of freshness, light heartedness and ready to face whatever is brought to our paths. Sunstone is also self-empowering, claiming independence and letting us have the right to say “no” where it is needed, even if you have had difficulties in the past saying “no”. It is also an anti-depressant, it increases our sense of self-worth, also assisting with the feeling of abandonment. It is an excellent stone to work with the solar plexus chakra, although it does work on all chakras both physical and etheric, as well as the aura. The solar plexus chakra is the emotional clearinghouse for the bodies. If you have been feeling heavy or odd, place it on this chakra then when it’s time and you will know when, remove it, you should feel a lot lighter and optimistic. There are quite a few different colors of Sunstone, see what color calls to you, of course each color has its own attributes as well as the ones mentioned here.
