I chose this picture of Opal because it is not lab created, or microwaved. It is one of my favorites, and there are a large variety of them, all having their own attributes, so here, I will give to you some of the basics, and the rest will depend on which opal you choose. Whenever I write it is of the stone in purity, not the “man made ones”. The Deity for this stone is Cupid, if that gives you an idea of some of the attributes of this stone. It has been said that the opal posses all of the colors of every other gem, which in one manner means an opal can be programmed with a specific purpose or intent. Opals are an ideal stone to work on Astral Projection with, whether you are just beginning or an accomplished person at this. It can be used to surface any psychic power you may have that has laid dormant or to strengthen what you are already aware of. Opal is a calm, loving stone, it is a great stone for meditation on all levels. It will take you deep within your most inner, true thoughts and will also send out direct thoughts that you focus on. Again, it is a stone that enlarges the cosmic consciousness within ourselves, also inducing mystical visions. Anyone feeling their second chakra is shut down, or just plain out of whack, this is the stone to open it as it will open a river of creativity. Here I must say “caution”, it will link up with your emotional body and amplify them, then eventually returning them to their source. It has been called a teaching or karmic stone for those who need to learn “what you put out will
al-ways come back to you. It is a great stone for doing Shamanic work as it is known for assisting with shape-shifting. It is a stone of seduction, again, with Cupid as its caretaker, it is associated with love, nurturing and passion. If anyone ever needed a stone to magnify their intensions or feelings of love, opal is the stone for you. There are many, many forms of opal and in addition to what is said here, will have their own attributes to add. This stone will open repressed emotions and just may open the line of communication lines between you and your own Spirit Guides. Go to a shop and look at a few, see if one calls to you, if so, enjoy the journey. 😊
