Jade
Found in: United States, Italy, China, Russia, Middle East, etc..
There are several colors of Jade available, each having its own attributes, also many people at times end up getting Jadeite or Nephrite instead of actual Jade. Jade has always been considered “all knowing” and is a sacred stone in many cultures. Some of its attributes are: peace, cleansing, wisdom, long life and much more. Many people use this stone for dreamtime work. Even the Mayans call the stone “Sovereign of Harmony” and it very much works with the emotions on all levels. It teaches us and helps to build in us mercy and compassion for others and ourselves. It gives us the feeling of oneness with all living things in creation. Jade also gives or brings to us the energy of the Goddess Kwan Yin, her energy is so calming and soothing, nurturing, it helps all that are on their paths. My most favorite attribute of Jade is that it reminds and helps us be who we are, “Be-ing Human”. It stabilizes us by helping us find center, and mainly jade works with the Heart Chakra. Jades planet is Venus, so of course beauty and love are important. Along with Kwan Yin another Diety is Buddha. Also with love there is protection and prosperity that is brought to us. Again, it is used all over the world and by many cultures including the Hopi. It teaches us to believe in our dreams and ideals, also to manifest them. Jade brings joy and happiness and just the feeling of love that we are all connected and not alone, maybe that is why the stone is considered to be fortunate. Dreams are a part of our hearts and souls, so I for one am thankful for a stone that works with them. A few different jades are: Blue, Blue-Green, Brown, Lavendar, Orange, Red, Yellow, and a couple more. Also the colors definitely play a role in things. I may begin just to give you an idea of what color means what so that you may see what it adds to the other attributes. 😊
