This week marks an amazing event in our history that will be remembered for years to come. Hillary Clinton is the first woman to be nominated by the Democratic party to run for president. In fact, if we had been really paying attention, we might have noticed that a feeling of excitement was starting earlier in the week.
Uranus stationing retrograde on Thursday, July 27th. Major events can almost certainly be tied to the retrogradation or direct movement of the outer planets. The Democratic convention was no exception: the event will literally become iconic to the American people, because of the outstanding speeches given during its duration. I watched most of the convention during the week, and it seemed as though the speeches were not only well received, but were almost supernatural in content. At the very least, there was a special connection to the heart, which was something they really emphasized.
I kept wondering what was happening with the planets at that time. Then I realized, the next day after Hillary Clinton did her acceptance speech, that Uranus was going retrograde! Ah HA! Because Uranus has to do with changing things that are status quo and established already, I knew this was the ticket.
Whenever an outer planet changes direction, within a short period of time, life events will reflect the change. With Uranus, we expected to see something that was going to change our perspective on an established societal process. And we did - we nominated the first WOMAN to be a party’s selection for the presidency. The news kept reporting that Democrats were “breaking through the glass ceiling” - in other words, a breakthrough of monumental proportions that will forever change how we do politics in this country. A true Uranian event! And only during a Uranus stationing, and then changing direction, could we see this - and really notice it, and bookmark history because of it.
History has been made, and we all witnessed it!
