In her book, "A House with Holes: One Marriage Journey in a Charleston Renovation," she tells the story of when as veteran rehabbers she and her husband, Greg Broadwater, purchased a dilapidated Charleston Cottage in a sketchy part of town for less than the value of the lot, they soon uncovered complications they didn't bargain for--both in the house and in their relationship. As a licensed counselor, Denise thought she could handle anything that came up in their 30-year marriage. However, she didn't plan on open dirt floors, a creepy bathroom or wildlife in her kitchen, and that's just for starters. Heartfelt and humorous, dramatic and down-to-earth, A House With Holes is a memoir with a message as Denise compares the house renovation to her adjustments as a new empty-nester

My guest Wednesday nite Dec 18th, 2019 was Denise Mast Broadwater and what a show we had :)
We talked about her lates book " A House With Holes" and renovation of a very old home in Charleston, SC .............not far from me at all.
I told her of my summer experiences in Charleston when I went there every summer for a few days. It was wonderful to say the lease.
Hopefully this Spring or Summer I will go to visit her with my Nikon camera and take some wonderful shots.
