Everything Counts
Everything we do affects someone or something in some way. Everything that is alive picks up the energy of everything else, plant or animal. That fact is overwhelming to consider, but it's true. Most people are able to absorb what they want, and block the rest of it, but now, in the enlightened age of humanity, a lot of people are so aware of the energy exchange they are figuring out how to use it.
That is the point where everyone gets a bit unsettled. I mean, being able to 'sense' what anything alive is feeling? There are so many ways this ability can be used it confounds the imagination. A lot of the empathic, tuned-in individuals are crooks. They don't realize it, but they use it to take advantage of those around them. Keep in mind everything we say and do to another creature matters. Any creature! It affects them. It makes a difference. Tune in and use it wisely. You can make a difference.
The three construction workers walked in to the restaurant at lunchtime wearing their work gear: loose pants, big suspenders, correct work shirts, boots and hard hats. They were large men, tall, with a lot of muscles and were obviously hungry and upset about something when they grumpily slid into the booth. Nothing was said. They were looking here, looking there, shuffling around sitting this way and that, not looking at each other seeming to accept the fact they were there to eat and just leave it at that for now. Whatever was bothering them could wait but whatever the problem was, it was affecting all of the vibes each one was sending out. I could feel agitation but not anger. No one was waiting to punch anyone.
My job there was the cashier-hostess. I lead people to their booth or table, I gave them a menu, made nice small talk to make them feel welcome, and if the waitress was real busy, I would ask them if they would like something to drink. I have always recognized the empathic ability of every living being and accepted it as how life is. Seeing if a person's words fit the vibes they give off has always helped me be very good at working with the public. The manager at this restaurant used to sit at the counter drinking coffee watching how I was able to make every customer laugh in just a few minutes. I didn't bother to tell her I had other talents, I just enjoyed the moments.
This moment was the large, irritated construction workers trying to get settled. I was being quiet, I smiled and fussed around wiping the table off, putting menus in front of them, arranging silverware, and in the middle of the dutiful woman like puttering in front of big, agitated workers, I said softly: " Would any of you ladies like something to drink?" None of them showed any signs they heard what I said. There was no reaction but I felt the vibes change immediately. The largest one shuffled his legs, leaned his elbow on the window sill and snarled to the man across from him: " I think that girl could use something to drink!" The man he was referring to folded his arms and said huffily as he rolled his eyes: " They don't serve booze here so I would have to have a Shirley Temple!" Everyone snickered, the energy at the table relaxed and you could see the men smile as I joked about finding a cherry to put in a glass of water and just call it a Shirley. Then as waitress came over to take the lunch order of the relaxed group of men, I made my way over to a baby laughing so hysterically he was choking. I saw both of his grandmothers sitting next to him, one on the left, one on the right staring at the poor little guy! No pressure there, huh baby? Hang in there, sweetie, your local empath is on the way.
Always remember everything you do is noticed and your energy is felt by others. Don't take their energy personally just use it to make your energy as level as you can. Everything counts... You count.
