(Vishuddha Mudra)
Assists: Mental clarity, Purity, Spaciousness
Benefits: Enhances circulation to neck, throat and thyroid. Aligns cervical spine. Releases tension from the neck and jaw. Helps to purify thoughts and limiting beliefs.
Instructions: Bring the tips of the thumbs to touch the base of the ring fingers. Allow all other fingers to extend outward away from the body. Rest the backs of the hands on the tops of the thighs. Relax shoulders down and align the spine.
Cautions: With hypertension and hyperthyroid, use caution.
Focus: By embracing purity on all levels, I open to greater expansion.
Practice: Take a few deep cleansing breaths Inhale through the nose and exhale all around the throat. each inhale fills the entire body, each exhale releases tension and sweeps the throat center clear. See the breath as sky blue energy purifying the throat center. See all the times you stopped yourself from speaking up, all words that were swallowed, all times you felt criticized. See the sky blue energy now dissolving words and beliefs,. See the throat center purified, expanded and open.
This Chakra helps to clear your things going mentally with you. If you have been feeling stuck from some issues going on around you, it is saying you can be helped with this chakra. If your belief system is not letting you delve further into this side of yourself or people doubt how you can see or feel things this card will help you to come to terms with the doubt of yourself and the doubt of others. Just know you can do some special things with your mind!
