Exploring Karma, Starz BlogTalk radio; Monday 5/16, Part 1

In this two part series we talk about and explore the definitions and various meanings of Karma. Per usual the show hosts included Natalie AKA StarzCast (Owner, founder, CEO of Starz and affiliates) myself StarzMayaMoon, AKA Maya and the StarzAeneas joined us also adding his thoughts and insights on this diverse subject.
In addition to sharing the actual definition, which basically refers to Karma as a form of "action" Natalie also shared some of her personal stories and insights with examples of how she believes Karma works in our lives. And in part Natalie referred to the influence of past lives', lessons and the potential for completion of various processes which could easily be seen as Karma. I also agree and support that in part Karma is that which follows us or we carry through for not only this life but previous lives and those yet to be.
One question that was brought up and carries much debate is do we have the power and/or ability to change our Karma? We all tended to agree that if we were to totally change, shift our fixed positions or receive a form of enlightenment we could in a sense perhaps "make amends" or change/alter our Karma.
While Karma is often referred to as if it were a punishment, neither of us believed that to be true. It is however centered in balance therefore what we give we shall receive equally the positive and the negative. And for some they may live their lives giving and with love and compassion, yet feel as though the Universe or Creator has forgotten them. I can assure you that Karma never forgets or let’s go and those that strive to do well especially in the treatment of others will reap those same rewards.
So Karma is quite a complex and complicated "action" and from the exploration we did in part 1 appears to have several components and facets of influence.
We spoke a bit about the comparison of Karma to fate and destiny and in unity agreed there were some differences between those. Fate and destiny feel to be the same or equal but Karma stands apart and is not a fixed or constant plot on your path. So one could then say that Karma, being an action can be shifted or changed where fate/destiny is predetermined events such as death for example.
We also began to discuss how Karma can be seen as a pyramid and as we travel upwards, with again the "action" we become more and more balanced. At some point we reach the top and we are then in complete and total harmony with the universe, seeing all sides to every human energy, influence and emotion- but more on that next week.
