Love is a melody of our spiritual song,
love is the reason we choose to go on.
The tune of our story, each musical note,
a reminder of each little story life wrote.
If I seem to be carefree or quietly calm,
perhaps I am listening to our favorite song.
Or in the moment of all that was shared,
the journey continues I do not feel scared.
I watch the brilliance of a full autumn moon,
accepting my path that was never too soon.
In the pure illumination of each memory,
there are millions of pictures of just you and me.
I came to your bedside but held my head high,
we both agreed to never say goodbye.
There is nothing easy and yet we both tried.
we laughed outloud until we cried.
I shall accept these moments with you,
glad for the blessing in all that you do.
