"Is there a real truth, or is truth only our perception"?
Part 1

Somebody to Love
Jefferson Airplane
When the truth is found to be lies
And all the joy within you dies

The above reference is a song from the rock group Jefferson Airplane, recorded back in the 1960's. It is part of the first paragraph of the lyrics to the song and I felt to share this because it is quite relevant to our topic.

My guides (per usual) will often lead me to a song, movie, series, book or guide me to view other information in addition to often showing me their own visions or shared information. And with the New Year quickly approaching and therefore new lessons, energy and expectations, I find myself now sharing all with the readers.

It is so easy to use the word, "truth" or to call upon an event, situation or experience as the truth or a statement of fact. Other than dealing with mathematics and scientific principles, the truth becomes somewhat questionable in our spiritual and emotional lives. We may consider an occurrence or perhaps our recounting of such to be the "truth" or using an acronym that implies such to be the truth. However in life and in dealing with people from all cultures, race and socio-economic backgrounds, the truth is not always totally altruistic.

As first as always we clearly define our interpretation and/or meaning within this context of what we are referencing when we use the word, truth. And in this blog and relative to this topic and series, the truth is that which one or more persons believes to be that which is factual without any ability to change, shift or alter.

Although the Merriam-Webster does define truth quite similarly; when we are dealing with spiritual beings that exist as humans, there is not an "absolute truth" that can truly exist.
The way in which we formulate or choose, decide and rely upon a situation or that which we intake to be the truth is in reality simply our perception. And in many instances there can and very well is more than one human that perceives things or actions/circumstances in the same exact manner thus it also becomes their "truth".

As it states in the above line from the song, quite often the result or cause of our pain, wounds or emotional trauma is when something is shown, perceived or claimed as truth, but never quite reaches that unalterable state. And that is when we may call such a lie, an untruth, dishonesty or fraudulent whether a human is laying claim to a feeling or denying a particular action. In fact for many of us because we are all interconnected to that higher spiritual realm of the collective and Divine find truth versus lies or that lies are presented as truth to be the MOST painful and difficult of life's challenges.

When the truth is not felt, seen or heard by another but perceived or considered to be false, therefore a lie or a form of lying it becomes betrayal. Betrayal then has the power to crack the very foundation of not only relationships but can cause or create fractures or doubts within our own spiritual identity. So truth versus lies can be harrowing and profoundly altering experiences for self and even our world view.

There are many that have been raised in a variety of family dynamics and situations in which the "truth" was used as a form of punishment and worse yet, as a way to justify that which was against all that enhances our spiritual growth process. One cannot follow their path and purpose under the guise of lies, betrayal or in using their resources to uphold false beliefs, ideas and memories as the "truth".

It is almost impossible for there to exist a universal truth when it comes to perception, experience, relationships and situations. There can be truth in for example universal laws, that which equally applies to all human beings regardless of energy, gender or situation. However those are truths that are not interpreted and need no clarification or rely on perception. Acceptance is all that is needed for that which in our world is truthfully; the truth.

So this blog explores how humans rely on a word; "truth" and how this ONE word is often used for purposes other than to serve the greater good, whether self, others or both. And in delving into this topic, there is likely no human that can deny that at some time, even for the "right" reasons, they have not at least attempted to present a truth, that in reality was not so.

Once we see how much power lies in what is or isn't perceived as the truth and then are able to accept that we must always choose carefully what and how we adapt to our own truths, and that of others. We begin to expand our spiritual horizon and ultimately can be less dependent upon a word or in believing in the power of a word and place that within our spiritual core where it belongs.

And although this may originally seem to be rather trivial or of little consequence, it is in many ways one of our most basic spiritual and human needs. To understand, define and then use and accept the truth for what is really is, rather than what is easiest to abide by.

Join me as my guides channel their guidance and insight on understanding what truth is and whether there can be a truth that is without challenge.

Next, more on defining truth and our perceptions.
