Weekly Energy Forecast: October 19–25, 2026

I think this week is going to be a little more practical than the last one.
We're still in autumn, but around October 23, we enter Frost's Descent (霜降), another traditional Chinese seasonal marker. It's the last solar term of autumn, and winter is getting closer.
In Chinese metaphysics, this period carries a stronger Earth influence, along with the Fire energy of the year. To me, this combination brings up questions about responsibility, stability, and how much effort we're putting into things.
You may find yourself thinking more seriously about something you've been putting off. Maybe it's a decision about work, a financial concern, or simply something in your daily life that needs more attention.
There is a difference between wanting something to work and actually making it work.
And I think that's something worth remembering this week.
For work, you might feel a little more pressure to get things done. There could be responsibilities that you can't keep pushing aside, especially if other people are depending on you.
But I wouldn't take on everything just because you feel capable of handling it.
Sometimes we agree to things without thinking about how much time or energy they will take. Then a few days later, we wonder why we're so tired.
If you're working on something important, this may be a good week to make some real progress. Nothing dramatic is necessary. Even taking care of one difficult task can make a difference.
Money is another area where I would be a little more careful.
Not because something bad is necessarily going to happen, but because this week's energy seems to favor practical decisions over taking unnecessary risks.
If you've been thinking about a purchase or an investment, take another look at the details. What makes sense today should hopefully still make sense tomorrow.
Relationships may be a little more complicated.
There could be a stronger need for security or reassurance, but not everyone expresses those needs in the same way.
One person may want more attention, while the other thinks everything is perfectly fine. That can create misunderstandings, even when neither person has done anything particularly wrong.
If something bothers you, try to be clear about it rather than expecting the other person to figure it out.
For those who are single or getting to know someone, I would pay attention to whether the connection feels balanced. Are both people making an effort? Or is one person doing most of the work?
You don't have to keep score, of course.
