Today, September 11, we pause to remember.
We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families and loved ones whose lives were forever changed.
We remember the first responders who ran toward danger to help others, and all those who showed extraordinary courage, compassion, and selflessness during one of the darkest days in our nation's history.
More than two decades later, the memories remain.
May we continue to honor those we lost by remembering the lives they lived, the people who loved them, and the countless acts of kindness and courage that emerged in the days that followed.
Today, may we choose compassion over division, kindness over anger, and love over fear.
Some days ask us to simply stop, remember, and hold others in our hearts.
September 11, 2001 — Never forgotten.
