You focus to much on the past. The past is in the past for a reason. Learn to live for the present. As that is what present represents is just that "A PRESENT".
It is ok to think ahead to the future and hope to see where you will go and what you will be but don't dwell on that as much either.
Just enjoy the here and now! Enjoy that job, that partner, that good book and the AWESOME stuff in the future will be what you look forward to! Don't stay stuck in the past!
