It doesn't seem like it
Why is that, anyway? Well, it is perhaps due to something that we forget about even though a planet that is in retrograde for eight weeks turns around and move forward. Doesn't it seem like everything should be okay with the martial energies?
For those of you who were sitting there shaking your head, You're right. It does seem as though mars retrograde is still going on. There's still tons of weird traffic on the freeway all trying to running into each other, And most of us are still downright ticked off at just about anything. Which is weird because Mars retrograde ended two weeks ago period
Why is that?
Because Mars is in its shadow. Let me explain what that means. When Mars went retrograde a little over couple of months ago, it went retrograde at 2° of Sagittarius. Mars then went backwards until it reached 23° of Scorpio, And then went direct. And now Mars has to move all the way through to 2° Sagittarius again before it is out of his own shadow. So, from June 29 this year until August 23, we are in the shadow of Mars.
Let me explain what the shadow probably is. When we have a retrograde planet, It means the function of that planet when it retrogrades goes back over old material, and the material it goes over is old emotional stuff - especially with Mars, It will be material that has upset or frustrated us. As we go back, the wounds will reopen and we get to look at these things in depth and detail. It doesn't necessarily mean you going to do anything about it just means that you notice it. When the planet goes direct, the energy starts to move forward again, except this time we have to deal with the issues.
Retrogradation is a long process. It is truly an opportunity to deal with things that have plagued us for a long time and process them out with finality.
So, until 23 August, We get to finally deal with those issues that were dug up during the retrograde period. When August 23 comes along, when Mars gets out of the shadow, Will we be able to move forward with greater clarity.
