This is a stone to fall in love with, especially if you get a very good piece, starring into it you easily get lost so to speak. It comes in a couple of colors. It is a crystal of kindness, tranquility and gives you the hope of a great outcome in anything you do. It is great for releasing stress and is such a very gentle presence. Believe it or not it helps so much to help release stress before you or I have a mental breakdown. Anyone who feels unloved, unwanted or even had an extremely difficult childhood, I cannot stress enough this is definitely “the” stone for you to work with. It helps us heal the “inner child” in all of us, and assists with mental abuse, more so than any other stone I have worked with. Again, it is a gentle stone and slowly, easily gets rid of emotional hurts in a calming way. I suggest you work with other stones along with it at the same time, because for anyone the most elusive part of us are the emotions, ask anyone who works in this line, crystals, reiki and so forth they will tell you the same. Anyone working on “rebirth” this is the crystal to use. Smithsonite aligns all of the chakras and strengthens our intuitive or psychic abilities. This is a stone for a secure and balanced life, it also works with the Angelic realm. It teaches us harmony and diplomacy, that doesn’t mean loose yourself or who you truly are, but those are just some of the tools we can use with this stone everyday. It extremely works well with Bloodstone, a great combination to sleep with under your pillow at night. Of course each color has its own attributes that add to these basics, which is great because it makes it stronger energy wise. In addition to clearing all chakras it also activates them. Smithsonite maybe placed in whichever area you feel you need help with the most. For instance placing it on the crown chakra, the stone draws the energy into the other chakras, which aligns them. It provides us with the strength to be a leader and in a situation you may be put off by, it acts like a bridge to get from one side to the other. Smithsonite is a stone that boosts you to enlightenment and too celebrate who you truly are. Again, it brings to the surface emotions that have been buried and brings them to the light to be healed, such as rage, anger, grief, sorrow, sadness, etc. The pink one teaches us to trust others and the Goddess. It helps to break down walls around our hearts so that we may grow, experience joy and happiness, also helping us to love, not only others but ourselves as well.
