As usual hosting this relevant topic was our own Miss Natalie, AKA StarzCast (Owner, founder, CEO of Starz and affiliates) and myself, Maya, AKA StarzMayaMoon.
We can always count on Natalie to bring a fresh and articulate view to our topics and Natalie shared so much with us last evening. On the ways in which as humans we can be in conflict over what is or is not “good enough”. As Natalie is always so open with her personal life stories, challenges and positive or enlightening experience; she herself admitted to not really being aware when she was younger in evaluating whether a situation or relationship really was all it could be.
Natalie always brings balance and her empathic abilities allow her to easily see, feel and then of course share both or all sides of a topic, situation or even the mixed emotions we may feel towards life and our journey. And also she helped us to recognize that we each have our own time frame or time line and many of what we accomplish in life is done via a process rather than all at once. We cannot always expect to make shifts or changes just because we become aware they are needed.
I agreed and added my own story and we were able to reach some collective conclusions that we both felt were important and universal in how they can or may affect others.
Fear must be eliminated always; we cannot fairly judge if something is truly as “good as it gets” if fear is blocking our path to the future. And also there are times when we do have to accept that perhaps a job, a person or relationship has reached its potential and therefore IS as good as it can or will get. At that point we have the choice of either letting go and seeking our greater good elsewhere, or changing the way in which we view such, so we can be accepting and in grace-therefore happy.
Although we all do things a bit differently, for those that have repeated a cycle over and over and nothing changes and we are constantly yearning for more or even different, that is our sign that its truly time to ask if this is enough.
Sometimes it is as good as it gets and that can be enough. And other times it just isn’t and it takes a great deal of courage, empowerment, and faith and of course hopes to continue to pursue that which may be waiting in our future. We may not always know what is around the corner or even exactly what we want, but at the very least we can usually determine what we don’t want.
So, for all of you that joined us last evening or plan to listen at a later date, we hope you find this topic and our broadcast to be eye opening and certainly as “good as it gets”!!
