Chalcedony
Found in: U.S., Austria, Iceland, Brazil, Morocco, etc..
Chalcedony is a member of the quartz family and there is a few different colors, each having its own specialties in addition to the basics. I don’t normally do this but, I will list each color and the area it can be used for, of course there will be much more to it, this will just give you an idea. Blue, focuses on the throat chakra and all things that are done with that chakra. Brown- Is very grounding. Pink - Is for all things associated with the etheric heart. White- Is used for all things dealing with the third eye. Of course there is much more to each stone. I love a lot of the attributes of this stone because one of the main things it brings out in us is, good will towards our fellow humans, bringing out “true heart” feelings for one another. It assists us with getting along with each other, respecting one another and giving us all a stability being together. Another great thing about this stone is the fact that it absorbs negativity and then dissolves it, so that it may not travel any further or do harm. This wonderful crystal brings our spirit, mind, emotions and body all into harmony on all levels, so again we feel balanced and in the flow of things so to speak. Its element is water and water is the emotions, so all things dealing with emotions such as fear, depression, sadness, all can benefit from working with this crystal. Chalcedony is a stone of peace bringing a solution to any problem fairly and peacefully. It is known for getting rid of hostility and instilling within us generosity. It opens our minds and hearts to feel free and to feel love for all things. Who wouldn’t want these characteristics for themselves?. As I had said earlier, each color of this crystal has its own additional attributes. This is one of my favorites and I think it would definitely be one of the stones for your toolbox. It is a great stone to carry thoughts out to where they need to go. Happy journey. 😊
