"The power of spirituality, the empowered soul"
Part 5/Conclusion
As we conclude this week's blog mini-series we look at how the power or the absorption of power-empowerment shifts and changes our lives'.
If you have been able to reach understanding of the potential we carry in our spirit/soul power, then perhaps you are already making and feeling the possible changes. Or at least have a better grasp on how our "powerhouse" works and that all humans are spiritual beings, therefore this energy is equally and indiscriminately available to all. The difference is those who rely or reach for that power source or energy and those that are either unaware or choose not to take this blessing or gift.
As we learn to empower ourselves as we examined in part 4, it becomes a circle of energy that enhances all facets of our life and being. From our work habits to relationships and even our ability to plan and hope for the future. The more empowered we become the more we resist falling into the sink hole that exists of chaos, anxiety, hopelessness or just inability to believe in tomorrow. The measure of our hope and faith is directly related and relevant to how empowered we are even if we have no specific need at the moment. Learning to be empowered and to make positive and consistent use of spirit/soul power gives us the inner sanctuary we need to retreat, mend and grow within. It means we no longer rely on the external or place our burden of happiness or misery upon others or even circumstances. The difference as we touched on between those empowered and not is actually tremendous and profound.
If you have ever met someone that seemed calm or able to deal with life's struggles in total grace, you witnessed the power of empowerment. It is not a "magic mushroom" and it does not shift our Karma or destiny in the sense that if we are empowered we avoid any/all disasters. In fact many would argue that those that appear strongest in their sense of self are those that have suffered greatly. It is often a tragedy in which we almost blindly run into our empowerment, or discover just how much spiritual power is always a thought away. Although many of us do shut down emotionally and spiritually when things occur that seem beyond repair or reconciliation, we can always find our power, it never disappears, leaves or runs dry.
So however or whenever we find that intention or thought and begin to make use of our power through manifestation and action, we grow. It creates and changes the dynamics of our relationship with self, whatever we see as Creator, Source or Divine and all interpersonal relationships. The more balanced we become the greater the balance and harmony our entire life reflects back. As empowered individuals we are much less likely to tolerate dysfunction, chaos or toxic people and/or situations. It creates a new flow of positive energy that inflates our self-image and not over inflated to the point of being narcissistic. But to a point of emotional health and the restoration of the connection we carry to our physical self as well. Although being empowered cannot of course heal a broken leg, it can enhance and alter or shift how we view that injury. Whether we allow that or any other situation to define us or we instead rely on our empowerment to define who we are. All humans as spiritual beings choose who and what they allow to define their worth and the value of their lives' now and in the future.
So empowerment is a strong combination of being truly motivated in the present and able to view the future with hope, faith and envisioning the highest outcome. It allows us to open up all doors so we see and feel more and on a positive vibration of anticipation and joy. For those that are in spiritual distress they are unable to fully embrace life; that means all things life offers in the now and the future. From the smallest details such as the color changes of the trees in the fall to making the most of all relationships in a healthy and nurturing manner. If we are lacking the connection to that power or empowerment it is simply impossible to be the best we can be. And there is never a lack of power or that the energy or the connection is broken, however it may be hidden behind that distress.
Because all things come from spirit/soul and then fall into place in each aspect of our lives' both internally and externally reaching our potential relies on that connection. The stronger the connection the more powerful we become. If you have ever pumped up an air raft or even toy, you can watch as the air goes into the main chambers first, then into the smaller nooks. This is a great analogy for our empowerment and our connection to what resides within our energy. It affects the main roles of our life and then trickles into all the corners and each and every part of our life that we wish to exist or remain.
This power is not a power of arrogance or aggressive, it is more a light that brightens the darkness and allows us to see clearly. When we turn on that light, what may have looked unfamiliar becomes our chair or dresser or bed. In our spiritual and emotional life it becomes our true value and worth, our identity, our compassion for self and the ability to continually move towards the future.
So in conclusion the empowerment and our ability to "light" up our own self and life with our spirit/soul power is truly life changing. It not only changes how we interact with self and the world, it changes the energy within and the future. These changes are immense and take us from being potential victims even of our own thoughts to potential heroes even if in our own thoughts. It allows us to embrace anything and everything the future may hold in store and to live in a perpetual state of grace now and as we move forward. It helps or assists us in establishing and maintaining healthy relationships and exiting dysfunctional ones. It helps us to cope with what may have seemed or felt impossible into possible.
At it is as brilliant and illuminating as walking from pitch darkness into bright sunlight. Or seeing the world with a haze versus clear and total clarity.
The power we carry is the light we carry, and all we have to do is reach for what is carried and waits within.
