This stone is a relative of Rhodochrosite, but with this stone things run a bit slower, very much deeper and has an energy that is longer lasting. It is a very calm stone and assists in helping us de-stress and in the letting go process. This is a great stone to work with the emotions and emotional body. It helps to stabilize the emotional body by balancing us, along with nurturing with love, it encourages us to give that gift to others. This stone will show you all sides to any issue. It is a wonderful stone to work with the heart chakra by stimulating it, as well as clearing it and activating it, if you have felt the heart has shut down or if you have been heavy hearted this is the stone to work with. It balances the yin/yang energies as well so that it may help and guide us to our highest potentials. Rhodonite is a fabulous stone to use during meditation, aligning our vibrations to a higher level. It helps protect us from the vibrations/energies of envy, jealousy as well as other ego based energy. Along with Taurus it assists Leos who are commonly known to be “too sure” of themselves at times. Those of us who fall in “love to fast or too often”, this stone helps to slow us down and shows us the “true reality” of the relationship. It also assists us that have panic attacks, or emotional traumas by giving us energy for the soul that helps us through whatever the issue may be. It helps to build our self-esteem as well as physical energy. The best that I like about it is, It helps us become self-aware or self-actualized people. As well, it gives to us the urge to be of service, by being of service it raises our own vibrations as well as that of others. Its element is Fire, which represents movement and transformation, also the power of peace and anti-confusion. Rhodonite helps to recognize or know the “real” from fantasy. When it is worn it creates a state of calmness, leaving confusion and doubt behind. It also helps us to deal with our fears of criticism, so if you feel you are being overwhelmed with it just wear a piece of it or even just carry it in your pocket with you. It helps to heal emotional wounds or scars from the past or present, once these issues come up they are in the light for healing and for transmuting. It is a wonderful stone to use for past life healing, especially dealing with abandonment. Overall it is a great stone for healing on all levels and types. It isn’t an expensive stone and very easy to get. This is one of the stones that I had said if you can only afford a few for your “tool bag”, get this one. Take your time in working with it alone, you will be thanking yourself for getting it. 😊
