"Reincarnation, past lives', familiars and pre-destined"
Part 4
As we explore the existence and potential outcomes or benefits of reincarnation, it only makes sense that most if not all humans have lived more than one physical life. For those that are believers in this spiritual process then we could almost see our spiritual energy or the "soul" as in a sense being reused. That is to say that while there is to my belief and what I am taught a spiritual realm of existence, it is our spirit or soul that is actually returning to reap the lesson or message.
So assuming we live a various amount of physical or literal lives' so that we are working a process of purification. Or even learning the sanctity of being human, it seems likely that some of us would certainly "meet again". With literally millions of humans inhabiting our planet earth at one time, and having existed for millions of years, it makes more sense to assume that we have crossed paths with those from prior lives' than to say all are strangers.
My guides are strong believers in the concept of what is often referred to as a "familiar". Although briefly defined in part 1, a familiar is the spiritual energy the core of the being of someone or more than one that we have shared encounters, relationships and our past lives’ with. As science teaches and proves that the inhabitation of the earth grows every year; as humans are living longer and more humans survive birth therefore we continue to grow in population. So perhaps at one point especially in smaller or more remote areas of the world, it would seem almost impossible that those that lived long, long ago had never been reunited. So the term familiar simply means a spiritually familiar being that is currently in our life, was in our life or perhaps is destined to be in our future. While the era, the location and physical appearance can vary greatly; we can spiritually recognize these individuals even if we cannot quite understand why or from where this recognition comes.
Although it would be impossible to put a scientific or absolute number or in some way prove this theory, for many of us the experiences in meeting others seems proof enough. I am not sure if I can recall any human that has not felt at some point in regard to another human a feeling of "knowing" that person. Just as we can experience with locations or events, with humans the feeling is one of an unexplained familiarity. Perhaps it is the new neighbor or a co-worker at our new job. While how we meet may be somewhat irrelevant, the feeling that both humans usually share is what often determines some pre-existing relationship, or an unshakable feeling that we have met before. After small talk and ruling out any possible current life interactions, having shared a past life fits and is most often the case.
In these situations it is fairly strong and immediate, and almost always a bond or connection is created whether purely platonic or perhaps romantic. And while again it is difficult to try to pin down an exact number or answer, my experience and from the teachings I have received it is believed we all have at least 5 and often more "familiars". We use this term in spirituality because it also defines the feeling or the connection that time does not. Naturally we would feel a human was familiar if we worked together for 5 years, but if within the first day or two of meeting there is that sense of comfort, ease and a sense of trust, this is likely a familiar. Our familiars seem to be a part of our inner spiritual circle and enter our current life at one point or another. Being a familiar does not always indicate a lifelong relationship; it does however indicate a connection that defies logic, time and circumstance.
Our familiars may join us in the majority of our physical or human lives' for a variety of reasons. They may be associated with our lessons, purpose or path. Or we may be associated with their current life. It could also be a way of offering us that spiritual support and the primitive reminder that while we are humans, we are first and foremost spiritual beings. As my guides always share, the foundation and beliefs in spirituality are expansive and there is never truly a right/wrong system. It is what feels right and resonates and makes the most sense or fits the best into our frame of reference. And many of us believe that familiars first began when perhaps there were limited spiritual beings that had the opportunity to return to earth as humans. It also feels there is symbolism in helping us to remain aware of the collective or universal energies, so that we do not isolate ourselves or become spiritual hoarders or loners. And although we are challenged with lessons and our familiars can be a part of those lessons, for many if not most our familiars at one point or another have become or been of great support or in some way added to our human and spiritual life, energy and therefore happiness.
And if we resonate with the belief system that we are living or returning so that we might find greater balance, compassion and that state of grace. Then just as our various lives' are changed or altered, the relationships or the role played by our familiars certainly must vary as well. We may have lived in the 1800's, riding posse for the law and perhaps one of our familiars was our trusted sidekick. Or we may have lived as a religious teacher, dedicating that current life to spiritual and religious beliefs and a familiar was one we mentored or taught. Just as our lives' are quite varied so that we are able to view life in a panoramic vision rather than a narrow peephole. Then we can only rightly assume that those that have been a part of our spiritual path have also had variance and taken detours in their reincarnation as well.
It doesn't seem to be imperative or of any great importance that we be prepared to recognize a familiar, as our spiritual cache or memory will always resurrect the connection. All we need is follow our instincts or intuition and allow these natural bonds to be formed and played out as destined or planned. In some cases meeting these beings from our past or that we have that intense connection with does seem to assist us in our life goals, visions and path.
It may be as simple as a friendship that helps teach us patience, or perhaps a friendship in which we teach perseverance. And it seems just as probable that the actual reason for the appearance in this particular life is not transparent. No matter how we may evaluate or explain the reason or meaning of our familiars, they are spiritually connected and bonded with or to us, and all spiritual connections are positive and help us as we transition to that higher energy.
While there are various ways of interpreting reincarnation and those that seem or feel to join us over and over, there are many terms used interchangeable or to indicate perhaps significant differences.
My guides teach that a familiar tends to be more of a platonic or nurturing energy that in some way assists with our lessons just as we assist with their work or soul contracts. Although a "soul-mate" is a familiar in the sense we believe our soul mates have been in many if not every previous life, they have significant differences. Although it may be possible that one of our familiar's held a brief romantic place in our life, it feels to be more unusual than common.
However with a soul-mate or twin flame (my guides do not distinguish between these terms) the opposite is true.
Our soul mates are almost exclusively romantic connections, energy and interactions.
