Calcite is a common stone and is easy to obtain. It comes in a variety of colors, again each color has its own attributes on top of the basic ones. One of the first things about this stone, no matter what color, it assists the mind, emotions and physical bodies to re-member. This is a stone for astral travel, amongst other things, but it brings in the Higher Spiritual Knowledge, integrates it within these bodies. Also, what is so wonderful is that it “clears” energy blocks in all bodies and levels. It is known to have an electrical energy that it puts out in order to do this, it is a great stone to have in any space to clear any negativity. This is an active crystal, meaning, you may feel the life in it, making it a good stone to accelerate growth, especially spiritual development. It truly connects the brain, the intellect with the emotional side of us as humans. If you suffer from depression or have no motivation, this is a stone that will light a fire under you, to get up, move and to create changes. It also helps the mind to choose what is important or not thought wise, so that it helps us focus on that which really matters to us. It pulls us out of shyness and directs us to a calm, focused type of assertiveness. Calcite also helps to stabilize our own potentials, our true lifes purposes, I for one am grateful at times for the assistance with what directions to take and when. 😊 So, with its cleansing it gives us mental clarity, also enhancing our perception of what is “true” in our daily lives. Calcite balances the energy in all chakras and bodies, that in itself makes it a valuable stone to have and to work with. Again, I caution, look for the real deal as it comes in several colors, instead of ones that are dyed which are dead in so far as energy.
