The Full Moon this month falls at 25° Sagittarius 52’, decan 3 according to darkstarastrology.com. The Full Moon is aligned with fixed star Lesath in the Scorpion’s stinger. The Full Moon is also within orb of the Galactic Center. The tarot card is the 10 of Wands and the healing crystal will be Shungite.
Full Moon Astrology ~ Sagittarius Decan 3
This is an extremely sensitive zone of the zodiac for at night it teems with slithering serpents, dragons and scorpion's stingers. The Moon here makes it quite a treacherous labyrinth to navigate, and one where you will have to be good at feeling your way through the dark! What it really comes down to is being able to trust the universe enough to hope it takes you to where you need to be. In some ways, it can actually be an advantage not to be able to see the scary creatures dangling between the dimensions.
So this zone carries two extremes. We could see too much and be driven mad by the true nature of reality or find the unknown fascinating and enjoy the challenge. If we choose to go down the rabbit hole we will have to build very strong psychic shields. At certain stages, we will need to have the sense to pause in our journey. The successful will be those who develop enough patience to wait until they feel more in tune with their path.
Another possibility is the habit of summoning up the monsters that no one wants to face (Trump & Farage BOTH have their natal Moon here.) these folks will then have evilness projected onto them. Here naïveté and idealism combine to help those touched by this Full Moon sail through anything. The lurking demons lose their power over them. Saturn ruling this decan could make us addicted to a kind of "I’ll prove the public wrong” attitude. Each challenge faced and superseded only makes us crave yet another one. At this Full Moon we could easily burn ourselves out if we are not careful.
Full Moon ~ Fixed Star Lesath & Galactic Center
Lesath is quite a notorious star in the stinger of the Scorpion. I have found it to be quite the psychopath in its very lowest vibrations as seen in my Psychopath post. Robson says it: “It gives danger, desperation, immorality and malevolence, and is connected with acid poisons.”
But of course it does have a positive side too “Not unexpectedly it gets a Mercury-Mars rating from Ptolemy, what else for deft and swift injector like this? Its qualities in the horoscope are very much those of a probing, sharp intellect and incisive wit, every bit as damaging as a knife to its opponent. … It does show them to have an enterprising spirit of keenness of insight, not always thought of in connection with that religio-philosophical ninth sign of the zodiac. Bill Hicks is a fabulous example of this since he has a Sun conjunction Mercury (A genius Cazimi at just 13′ apart) on this star. Also in this area, we have Shaula right next door, which is also called the sting and has been given much the same meaning as Lesath.
To offset all this prime ‘evilness’ we have the Galactic Centre. Zane Stein has some great links explaining what this amazing point could signify. He quotes Philip Sedgewick ” The Galactic Center acts like a satellite dish, directing divinely inspired information straight to the potentially receptive grey matter of our brains. If you believe in God, this might be the voice you hear. Regardless, within this connection, you have the ability to pull down wild information which you would otherwise have no way of knowing.”
Zane goes on to say “In his book, Phil writes that when an individual ignores this transpersonal link he can experience stress and confusion, but when the link is consciously utilized the individual can grasp information that they may seem to have no outward way of knowing.” The stress and confusion could explain why some Sagittarian decan 3s could experience the negative side of this decan. They need, more than most, to have this vital connection with spirit.

Full Moon ~ Aspects
There are no major aspects to this Full Moon, but we have a tighter version of the Streamer pattern that started forming at the previous new Moon. The streamer in both lunations features the ongoing nodal conjunction with Saturn.
Neptune trines the north node while at the same time is receiving a square from Jupiter (now retrograde). Both these planets are connected with religion. This time though we have Mercury conjunct Mars on the north node and they are both on Castor the ‘good twin’. Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto are all at 18º. So this area is very potent for the water signs, the cardinal and the mutable signs in particular.
Mars/Mercury opposite Saturn/Pluto across the nodes is massively powerful and could trigger violence born out of the Mercury/Saturn opposition. (Censorship?) That along with the emotions of the Full Moon could provoke some free speech demonstrations or even some civil unrest. Watch out for countries or states that have the aforementioned positions or the Moon degree prominent in their charts (IE: AC, MC, Sun or Moon). You can see why this is a very volcanic aspect for the nodes from the meanings of the oppositions below.
Mars opposite Pluto “Mars square or opposition Pluto thrives on danger and trauma, the adrenaline runs like petrol through their veins. This being the tropical sign of the archer, the work-horse metaphor is quite appropriate. The trusting nature too is shown and the Saturn rulership gives the strong work ethic also. It seems they folk either work extremely hard or zone out altogether.
Full Moon ~ Meaning
Full Moons tend to make us purge and release things from our lives, so we need to make sure that we are in control of this and no one is forcing our hand! Sometimes we can let go of things that we regret later, due to heightened emotions and the Full Moon’s penchant for saying ‘F*** You!’ The bright light of the sun throws a spotlight on our subconscious and our shadow.
