The Full Pink Moon today at 8:59 PM EST, according to darkstarastrology.com, falls at 9º Scorpio 39", decan 1. The full moon April 2018 astrology is the most complex web of aspects seen in a long time! There is a T-square with Ceres conjunct the north node at 10º Leo. Two learning triangles connected in what the Hubers call a trapeze and the Moon forms the base of a Yod to Venus also. Not only that, but if you look carefully in the chart below, there is also a pentagram buried in that lot also.
This means there are many factors pulling the strings in most situations at present and there are no simple solutions to problems. Pull one corner of the puzzle and surprisingly another seemingly totally unrelated area will quiver. This Moon could re-ignite the effects of the Blue Blood Lunar Eclipse that occurred back in January. Ceres (now direct) revisits the North Node and the eclipse point once again. Ecological themes come to the fore, and with the Yod pointing to stormy Venus on Hyades, watch out for freak weather and geoengineering in the news.
The Moon has the precise degree of its fall in this decan (3º Scorpio) which is supposed to make it extremely unfortunate. This is the devouring moon, the goddess Kali and vagina dentata (yes, a lady’s part with teeth!). The Moon is desperately famished here and can also be sexually insatiable.

Summary
Hunger is the theme of this full Moon. I am aware that the last few lunations have been quite dark. My feeling about Moons, in general, is that they are not to be trusted, hence my not painting them as some kind of magical cure. Best read my “Are We Moon-Food?” article to understand why my posts tend to emphasize ways of protecting ourselves from the moon’s sorcery rather than for casting spells! Lunacy is a word derived from the Latin word Lunar, and that is no coincidence.
Crimes and hedonistic behavior also statistically take place at a full moon. All this does not mean that the moon is in itself evil, but its emphasis on the unconscious in a word full of (In the main) sleeping creatures makes its energy wide open for manipulation. At one time I even decided to ignore the moon altogether so as to not give it any power. But to do that when one is an astrologer is like burying one’s head in the sand!
Farmers plant by the moon, it controls the tides and we as humans ebb and flow with it. So we need to know how to navigate its magnetic energies and surf its moods.
