Uttarabodhi Mudra
(Awakening)
Assists: Mental Clarity, Inspiration, Awakening truth
Benefits: Directs breathe to heart chest and ribs. Assists the immune system. Cultivates stability, inspiration and insight.
Instructions: Interlace the fingers of both hands with the tips of the thumbs touching and pointing downward. Extend the index fingers upward, touching them together. Bring the hands close to the heart center. Lengthen the spine, relax the shoulders.
Focus: Divine knowledge and inspiration awaken my highest truth.
Practice: Take several deep and awakening breaths in and out. Feel the breath moving from the front body into the back body. Feel breath around the heart. Release any of the past experiences from your back body. As you breath like this, bring your awareness beyond the body. Sense this place beyond the breath, beyond emotions, beyond habitual thoughts. See yourself awakening your truth now. See yourself as light, vibration, inspiration.
This energy card will help you to find your own light and inspiration. You may have been lacking in it as of lately but with this card it will help you to find it again. In order to get there make sure to follow the AWAKENING BREATHS as instructed above. You maybe holding on to past experiences, but now is the time to surrender those and let them in the past. As you breathe more and more and get more relaxed, you will begin to see the truth of what you need for yourself, to awaken the mysteries around you and grow to the ultimate awareness it is you seek.
