"Reincarnation and Past lives" -Part 2

As we questioned (and answered) the often asked and pondered idea of past lives' and reincarnation, both Natalie and myself shared our theories and insight.
For those that have been avid listeners or perhaps you know Natalie on a more personal basis; then you are aware of Natalie's deep longing to visit Africa. This is more than a place on a "bucket list" or a dream or goal to see a country, place or alternate way of life. For Natalie as she shares her affinity to the big cats, Giraffes and even the rugged landscape of African from rain forests to thousands of miles of desert. We can almost hear the beating of a drum and the symphony of sound from birds to Elephants. As we talked a bit last week on how past lives' can often leave residue in the current life or influence our path in various ways, Natalie provides a perfect example. For Natalie a visit or trip to Africa is not so much her ideal vacation as it is in "returning" home or to a place in which she once belonged. These types of feelings are quite indicative of being reminders or symbols of a past life. As Natalie pointed out, often that feeling of Déjà Vu is in reality a trigger to a subconscious memory of a once lived past life.
Natalie also shared an amazing story of her actual and real memories of living and being a close participant to Jesus. It becomes very clear as she talks about the emotions, the situation and the very specific details of his crucifixtion. It seems or feels to me this is quite an honor not only in having been a part of this phenomenal biblical history (applicable of course to Christians but not all who are spiritual resonate with God or such theories) but the fact that her recall of this is so powerful and without ANY doubts. Of course those of us that know, love or have heard Natalie are surely not surprised that with her constant state of grace and awareness of ALL those in need, that we can surely picture Natalie, sitting at his feet and gathering up those to convert such into believers.
We also did have a caller who asked if a person she was currently involved with and battling a very toxic relationship was from a past life. And in general and in this case the answer would be yes. Whether a soul mate connection that the bond is immediate or a dysfunctional one which we seem unable to leave or disconnect from, these are almost always Karmic and related to at least one past life if not more. And just a friendly reminder; we LOVE for our listeners to join us on air, whether sharing their unique ideas on the current topic or asking a general question that benefits all listeners, we do not do readings. As Natalie and I agreed on both feelings of familiarity, whether people, places or things; we also went a step further. Although unless you have done work with past life regression or used other tools to recall a past life or lives'; most of us have no actual recollection of any of these details. There are those such as with Natalie, that do seem to be able to tap into that resource as I have mentioned on various topics, it is my believe that our spiritual core or being holds and/or retains each and every memory-from past lives' to even our time in the womb.
However some humans do have dreams that often occur at intervals or are repetitive and from the details in clothing styles, and geography these are quite often past life dreams. So although the majority of us to have detailed recall per se; almost all humans feel either an attachment or connection to someone or a way of life or even unwarranted fears. I used my son as an example; from the time he could talk (he spoke at quite an early age) so about 2 years of age until he was about 9-10; he was almost obsessed with a fear of fire. Neither we nor anyone in our family had experienced ANY fires, not even small kitchen fires or a pan. Yet even as a young child you could literally feel the terror and worry in his little body and in looking in his eyes. He insisted we have an "exit plan" and believe me he made sure we practiced this often.
This is also an example of past life residue which simply means a connection that is profound or significant without any rational or relevant explanation in your current life.
We also were asked how many times do we reincarnate and how do we know or do we know if this is our first or last. Both Natalie and I believe that the purpose in reincarnation is to achieve the highest state of grace (also referred to as Universal understanding) possible. It is not likely unless you are working with a specialist in that venue to know exactly how many lives' you have lived. For those humans that seem to have this constant view of compassion, love and total forgiveness, it's most likely they are an "old soul" meaning such person has lived many, many lives'. I am sure we ALL think immediately of Miss Natalie; her way of always lighting the way (spiritually) yet remaining humble and never hesitant to share her own challenges or misfortune if it can help others. And I have said this quite often as well as my guides channeling that for those (not common by the way) that maintain their faith, positive attitude and no matter their own current state, STILL put others and the collective first, by whatever means possible. And on the opposite spectrum are those that may be in their first, second or even third life. They generally struggle to cope with even the smallest of setbacks, are self-serving and self absorbed, not to be deliberately selfish but due to a lack of compassion and unable to embrace a state of grace. Although even the most evolved human can still experience pain, sorrow, anger and a "bad day"; they rebound or recover quickly as those many previous lives' have taught such humans well.
In conclusion for those that embrace reincarnation and the effects a past life or lives' can have on or in our current life; it’s fascinating to sit back and ponder various feelings or situations that may have been overlooked.
