As Venus proceeds to go retrograde, what might YOU be learning from all this? Many astrologers say that its not a good time to become involved with someone new, or perhaps buy a large-ticket item. Whatever the reasons why not, there are some amazing benefits to be gotten by Venus retrograde.
I have noticed a distinct shift in how I feel about myself. Its not like looking outside of me for validation - there is this feeling that I’m looking for the answers within myself, to determine what I really do feel. I did a few things that wouldn’t actually be conducive, according to Venus Retrograde Protocol - I actually joined an online dating site. Why? I don’t really know but I felt moved to do so, from within myself. And I actually had a date with someone last week. I couldn’t believe it, since I haven’t gone out with anyone for YEARS.
There was a real difference in that experience, because I was totally at ease with myself - which, in the past, never seemed to happen. I also that I wasn’t so worried about making an impression, say like dominating the conversation. I was content to listen to my dinner partner and learn about him. It was really a total shift.
I realize that most everyone will have their own experience of this retrograde. It seems, though, that whatever experience does float up to the top of the bowl, it will be something that will have a lot to do with your evolution. If we can look beyond at Venus retrograde - not for all the supposed negativity we will experience, but maybe perhaps what we might learn about others, and most importantly, ourselves. I really do think that is what Venus in retrograde motion is all about - to affect and forward our evolutionary process in a big way. It will be whatever is meant for you.
So, for the next few weeks, take a look at what you seem to be focusing on, in regards to Venus issues, and you’ll probably find out you’re focusing a little more on those things, and how you deal with them, internally. It can’t really hurt.
