Happy New Year everybody! Well, after this last year, we can only hope its a little lighter and a little more joyous. So much loss last year and so many endings. Given it was a 9 year in numerology, it wasn’t that surprising, except for all the celebrity losses we had. That was tough to take. Lets take a look at whats happening this week:
First, Mercury is backing into the sign of Sagittarius before it goes direct on January 8th. Mercury will be in Sagittarius shortly - between January 5th and the 12th - this coming week. Just realize your thoughts will take a temporary detour from practical serious matter, to funny existential things. If you’ve been way too serious lately, this could help. Take this week, and take a mental adventure, OR, take a short trip somewhere - it could be pretty darned fun.
Venus goes into PIsces on the 4th. This is very sweet for Venus moving into the sign that it is exalted in! To say the least, this is the sign that “is in love with love” and this will prove to be a several week long romance fest. Venus in Pisces is really lovely, and it could mean the entire world falls in love with itself. Seriously though, we are much more prone to thinking romantic thoughts, as well as having much more creative energies that we normally have. It can also have a down side - falling in love prematurely without looking at the consequences of falling for someone that one hardly knows. This can lead to disillusionment, when the fantasy doesn’t equal the reality.
My advice is to keep a level head, and if you DO fall for someone while Venus is in this sign, just wait a few weeks before moving forward with the romance. You should, by then, have your head out of the clouds enough to make some rational decisions.
